Impeccable Taste

The duck that made it all happen. Specialising in boneless braised ducks, the recipe was passed down from the father of the Oh Brothers, Mr Oh Kim Seng, who started the stall in 1979.

In 2020, Ya Lor Braised Duck was launched in a modern coffee shop house inspired setting at Guoco Tower to make the famous Geylang Lorong 35 Sean Kee braised duck rice more accessible for the public to enjoy.

'Ya Lor' is a literal translation; 'ya' means duck in Mandarin, while 'lor' means braised in Hokkien.

Since 1979, the braised sauce has been the reason why many customers keep returning for more of Sean Kee’s Duck Rice.

If you enjoy your rice with lots of 'lor' aka dark braised sauce, this will be right up your alley with its slightly sweet side. Get your braised duck cravings fixed at Ya Lor today.
